TRUSTEE BOARD MEMBERS

HAVANT & DISTRICT CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic people who will ultimately be responsible for the quality and range of services Havant & District CAB offers.

Day-to-day control is delegated to the bureau manager, but Trustees:

Ø       Set the overall direction and support the development of the bureau

Ø       Ensure the bureau meets the need of the local community and the Citizens Advice membership standards

Ø       Employ CAB staff and control bureau finances

Ø       Earn and retain respect of important and influential people and organisations in the community, including funding bodies

Ø       Ensure the bureau complies with relevant laws

We need people from all sections of the community with a wide range of different skills, experience and perspectives. This role is flexible meaning some of our current trustees are able to fit around a full-time job.

Hours:  2 hours per week
